Michael L. Wynne Michael L. Wynne, 78, of Silverdale, born February 9, 1935, passed away April 13, 2013 Veteran Michael L. Wynne was born in Pierson, Wash. to Mark and Ruth (Gibler) Wynne. He passed away at his Silverdale home on April 13, 2013. Michael attended school at Molalla High School in Molalla, Ore. He later obtained his G.E.D. in Bremerton. Michael served in the Army National Guard from 1953 to 1985, and was stationed at the Poulsbo and Port Orchard Armory. For the majority of his career, he worked as a crane foreman operator at PSNS Bremerton, Keyport, and Bangor Sub Base. He spent seven years in Kodiak, Alaska as a foreman and transportation equipment operator. Michael retired in 1991 from Bangor Sub Base. On Dec. 13, 1981, Michael married his best friend, Gaile A. Wynne (McNair) in Bremerton. He was a member of the Bremerton VFW who enjoyed wood working, traveling to Europe and many of the U.S. states, and sea cruises. Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Mark and Ruth; as well as his brother, Mark. He is survived by his wife, Gaile; sister, Mary Aitchison of Poulsbo; five children and one stepson; as well as five nephews and one niece. Arrangements are entrusted to Lewis Funeral Chapel of Bremerton. Per Michael’s request, no services will be held. Special thanks to hospice, Dr. Sy and Dr. Lehman for their good care of Mike.
