Larry G. Wrolstad, 85, passed away peacefully on February 7, 2026, at Legacy Silverton Medical Center from complications of pneumonia and influenza.

Born on November 25, 1940, in Oregon City, OR to Clifford and Stephena Wrolstad, Larry was raised with the strong work ethic and quiet integrity that would define his life. He graduated from Molalla Union High School and went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from Oregon State University — an education that would shape his lifelong devotion to farming.

In 1961, Larry married the love of his life, Judith “Judy” Snider. Together they built not only a successful life but a life grounded in partnership, resilience, and deep family roots.

After college, Larry returned to Molalla to work alongside Larry’s father in turkey farming producing fertile eggs shipped across the country and around the world. In the late 1970’s, with vision and determination, the family transitioned the operation into hazelnut orchards, the orchards remain today as part of the couple’s enduring legacy.

Larry and Judy shared 64 remarkable years together, working side by side on the farm and raising their two daughters, Leslie A. Wrolstad of Las Vegas, NV, and Sonya M. Leedham (Bradley) of Molalla, OR. He was a proud and devoted grandfather to Klein J. Leedham of Molalla, OR. Larry’s brother Dwight Wrolstad (Carol) live in Molalla, OR. Larry was preceded in death by his parents and by his beloved youngest daughter, Sonya.

Valuing the outdoors and camaraderie, Larry found joy in hunting, fishing, trap shooting, and traveling. He was a champion trap shooter and an active member of several community organizations, including the Molalla Rotary Club, the Elks of Silverton, the Canby Rod & Gun Club, and most recently, the Molalla Moose Lodge 1277/Chapter 1751. Through these groups, he formed lasting friendships and made meaningful contribution to his community.

Larry will be remembered for his steady presence, strong hands, generous spirit, and unwavering commitment to family and land. His legacy lives on in the orchards he nurtured, the community he supported, and the family he loved so deeply. A celebration of Larry’s life will be held at a later date.
