GARDINER - A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 26, at 285 Pitt St. in Gardiner for Elizabeth Jean "Betty" Stulken, who died July 21 of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. She was 71.

She was born Aug. 2, 1936, in Salinas, Calif., to Carl and Lois Small Faunce. She married John Stulken on Aug. 25, 1956, in Reno, Nev.

She graduated from high school in Molalla. She worked at Morton and Lynch law firm in California, at International Paper Company and other positions as an executive secretary.

Survivors include two sons, Keith of Lynnwood, Wash., and Kelly of Bend; a daughter, Karen Doyle of Springfield; 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. A daughter died previously.
