Virginia (Kister) Strangfield

Virginia Strangfield A funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 10, 2003, in Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home for Virginia Strangfield.

She died Oct. 6 at age 77. Virginia Kister was born May 22, 1926, in Canby. She graduated from Molalla High School.

She was a clerk for the Clackamas County treasurer's office for 17 years and had lived in Oregon City since 1985.

In 1945, she married Alfred H.; he died in 2002. Survivors include her sons, Ron and Dean; sisters, May Swerver, Esther Schrock, Alice Hoffman, Mable Kirk, Aileen Gallagher and Donna Tschantz; brother, Art Kister; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
