Shelly Lou Shockley-Moore passed away too soon at 69 years of age in her home in the Macksburg Community, surrounded by the love of some of her favorite people. From the moment she received her diagnosis, until her very last breath, she was a fighter. Her drive to spend every last moment possible with her family fueled her.

She was born in Portland, Oregon, the fifth child of Bud and Marti Shockey's. She is preceded in death by her brother Greg Cork and her parents. She's survived by her daughter Stacey Jensen; granddaughter Savana; her siblings Carol Foster (Rick), Gail Kolb (Colin), Sandra Shaver, Sheni Kraxberger (Duane), and Suesan Thompson (Randy), Sonny (Owen) Shockley and many nieces and nephews, all of whom she loved dearly, and they loved her.

Shelly grew up living in rural areas of Estacada, Colton (Elwood) and Molalla. Her career was spent doing clerical work. She spent many years with the Oregon City Police Department, the medical office of Dr. W. Donnelly, and most recently at ROC Orthopedics. She made an impact as well as lasting friendships everywhere she worked and everywhere she went. She loved making conversations with strangers, and always made everyone around her laugh.

Shelly was a talented artist in her free time. she loved gardening and spending time outdoors, and cheerily sassed everyone around her. She had a profound love for animals, especially her dog Sarah who was with her until the very end. Everyone who knew her knew she was full of sass, but knew she was just as full of kindness. Shelly loved harder than anyone and had the most contagious smile that will forever be remembered by those who knew her.

All family and friends are invited to celebrate her life. This will be in Molalla at Bear Creek Pizza and Pub, ll-2pm on Saturday June 15, 2024. There will be a private interment for family only. Shelly will be put to rest next to her parents and other relatives at Moehnke Cemetery.
