Robert “Bob” James Shaver of Molalla passed away on March 30, 2018.

Robert was born in Oregon City on July 11,1937 to James and Alice Shaver. He lived most of his life in Molalla.

Robert worked as a forester for Crown Zellerbach and later retired from the Oregon Department of Forestry. He enjoyed everything outdoors. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and gardener. He was also actively involved in the Molalla Church of the Nazarene.

Robert is survived by his wife Connie, children Jim (Lonnie) Shaver, Dale (Peggy) Shaver, David (Gina) Shaver, and Lynn Robinson, his step-daughter Laurie (Dave) Elliott, twin brother Richard (Karen) Shaver, younger brother Bill (Collene) Shaver, sister Judy (Ben) Hepler, 17 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.

Robert is preceded in death by his first wife Susan Shaver and parents James and Alice Shaver.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Molalla Church of the Nazarene, Compassionate Ministries.

Visitation will be held at the Molalla Funeral Chapel on Thursday, April 5, 2018 from 4pm to 7pm.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Molalla Nazarene Church on Friday, April 6, 2018 at 11am.
