Dean Adams Sandgren

Dean Adams Sandgren was born February 11, 1928 in Molalla, Oregon. He passed December 15, 2022 surrounded by his family.

Dean is survived by his daughter, Kris Kyllo; son, Barry Sandgren (Monica); and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Sandgren; daughter, Kathy (Sandgren) Schoenborn; parents Fred and Merle Sandgren; brothers, Don Reed, Delmer Sandgren, Deryl Sandgren, and Fred Sandgren, Jr.; and three great grandchildren.

Dean was a veteran of the US Army/Air Corps and was employed as a log truck driver the majority of his career. As a lifelong resident of the Molalla community his loyalty and love for his family was unwavering.

He will be laid to rest at Adams Cemetery beside his ancestors, for which the cemetery is named, and be dearly missed by his descendants and those honored to know him.

Dean’s life will be celebrated on March 4, 2023 at Vanderbeck Valley Farm 37791 S Hwy 213 Mt Angel, Oregon. The doors will open at 1:30 PM with the service beginning at 2:00 PM, followed by a light lunch.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Adams Cemetery Fund in Molalla Oregon.
