Bonnie Sue (Wetzell) Orem

Bonnie was born in Eugene, Oregon, on September 13, 1955 to Elmer and Helen Wetzell. She married John Orem on June 30, 1973, and together they raised two children, John Jr. and Corrie.

She enjoyed sewing, traveling with her husband in their RV around the country, camping around Oregon and spending time with her three grandchildren, Courtney, Gwyneth and Eli.

She passed away on February 26, 2024, surrounded by her family at their winter home in El Mirage, Arizona.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her in-laws, Ray and Retha Orem; and four brothers. She is survived by her husband, John; children, John Jr (Kim) Orem and Corrie (Brian) Clark; grandchildren, Courtney, Gwyneth and Eli; brother, Darryl (Mary) Wetzell; and her twin sister, Connie (Jeff) Lara.

A celebration of life was held Saturday, September 14 at 1 p.m. at 9400 SW Riggs Road, Powell Butte.
