Lorene was born in Oregon City She was a homemaker Lorene is survived by her hus-band, Wallace E.; son, Thomas E.; and daughters, Maryellen Means and Beverly A. Feddersen.

A memorial service will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 5, 2009, in the Church of the Nazarene, Molalla. Arrangements by Molalla Funeral Chapel.

Lorene L. Sawtell, 82, died Sept. 30, 2009 in Molalla.

She was born April 4, 1927 in Oregon City to Troy and Dorothy Solomon. She grew up in Gladstone and graduated from Oregon City High School. On Sept. 2, 1945 she married Wallace E. Sawtell. She worked side by side with her husband for many years on a successful family farm. She was president of the Ladies Auxiliary of Oregon Turkey Growers and spent many years as a member of the Molalla Pastime Club.

Survivors include her husband, Wallace; son, Thomas; daughters, Maryellen Means and Beverly Ann Feddersen; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be held Monday, Oct. 5 at 1:30 p.m. at Molalla Church of the Nazarene, with Burl Yates officiating. Burial will be at Adams Cemetery in Molalla. Arrangements are being handled by Molalla Funeral Chapel.

Memorial contributions may be made to Willamette Falls Hospice or Adams Cemetery.
