Date of birth  - February 14, 1943

Date of death  - November 22, 2024

Rosalie Elaine Larson, a cherished resident of Oregon City, Oregon, passed away peacefully at her home on November 22, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Born on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 1943, to Laurence Victor Nichols and Virginia Rose Hamphill, Rosalie spent her life in the Beavercreek and Oregon City areas. She retired in 1984 from Publishers Paper Mill in Oregon City, where she met the love of her life, LeeRoy Larson.

Rosalie and LeeRoy shared an extraordinary love story. After 14 days of dating, they married on September 22, 1981, in Reno, Nevada—a union Rosalie fondly described as “love at first sight.” Together, they blended their families, welcoming Rosalie’s daughter Debbie and LeeRoy’s son Douglas into their loving home. For 43 years, they shared a life filled with laughter, adventure, and fun.

Rosalie was known for her warmth and hospitality. She loved camping with family at the beach, mountains, and countless other destinations where they would go clamming, ride four-wheelers and play endless games. She took great joy in hosting dinner parties and cards for her friends and family. And she loved Elvis, country music, the color pink, fuzzy socks, snowmen, and elaborately decorating for Christmas.

Rosalie’s memory will be forever cherished by her beloved husband, LeeRoy Larson; her sister, Suzanne (Don); stepson, Douglas (Amy); sister-in-law, Beverly; and her grandchildren, Jacob, Tayler (Matt), and Zach. She is also survived by many favorite nieces and nephews: Leslie, Jacquie (Gavin), Jennifer (Brian), Kim, Shawn (Ron), Bill (Jennifer), and Robert (Sarah); and great-nieces and nephews, Mackenzie, Hannah, John, Thomas, Matthew, Wyatt (Daniel), Cody, Levi, Sara, Seth, Austin, Ryan, and Nate; as well as her great-grandson, Parker.

Rosalie is reunited in peace with her parents, Laurence and Virginia; her brother Victor (Peggy); her sister Pamela (Ken); nephew Mark and her beloved daughter, Debbie.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Rosalie’s incredible life on Sunday, December 22, 2024, from 2 PM to 6 PM Downstairs, at the Oregon City Elks Lodge #1189, located at 610 McLoughlin Boulevard, Oregon City, Oregon, 97045.

In her honor, cherish your loved ones and the natural beauty surrounding us, as Rosalie so loved to do.
