Gordon Kundert

Gordon Kundert was born to Victor E. and Frieda M. (Orth) Kundert in Mobridge, S.D., on February 20, 1945. He passed into eternity with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on November 3, 2024.

Gordon attended Clackamas High School and graduated from Molalla Union High School in 1963. In July of 1964, he married his sweetheart, Sandy.

He was employed by Hyster Company for 21 years and then by Brazier Forest Products for 20 years. He also worked for Avison, Floragon, and Interfor Forest Products, worked periodically in the Christmas tree harvest, and drove local delivery truck prior to retiring in 2007.

Gordon was predeceased by his parents; and his brother, Dennis. Gordon is survived by his wife of 60 years, Sandy Kundert, his son, James (Jim); grandsons, Nicholas and Nathan; and great-granddaughter, Epiphany. Also surviving is his sister, Linda Jackson; and a host of nieces and nephews and their offspring. A Celebration of Life will be held at Foothills Community Church in Molalla on Thursday, November 14, 2024 at 11 a.m. Remembrances may be made to Foothills Community Church in Molalla or Molalla Area Seniors building fund.
