Henry Victor Koos, 97, died of natural causes in Colton on June 6, 2011.

He was born July 12, 1913 in Molalla to George and Mary Koos.

During World War II, he served in the 4168th AAF BU (Army Air Forces Base Unit) from September 1942 to March 1946 and was honorably discharged at the rank of corporal.

On May 26, 1950 he married (Elizabeth) Elaine Koos.

Survivors include his wife, Elaine; son, George; daughters, Marlene Daniels, Mary Ann Schweizer and Cheryl Parks; 12 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, July 16 at 2 p.m. at 11452 S. Mount Hope Road, Molalla. Private burial will be at Russellville Cemetery in Molalla.

Molalla Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to Providence Willamette Falls Hospice.
