Bruce Kayser Obituary Bruce D. Kayser was born on June 26, 1935 to Arthur B. Kayser Sr. and Ruth A. Kayser, in Portland, Ore. He attended Joseph Kellogg Grade School, Franklin High School and Molalla Union High School. He also attended Portland State College where he majored in Forestry.

Before graduating, he decided to attend Law School, and graduated from Northwestern College of Law (now Lewis and Clark Law School) in 1963. He was admitted to the Oregon State Bar the same year. He was a member of numerous Bar committees and professional organizations. He practiced law in Portland as a sole practitioner and was a partner in several law partnerships, retiring at the end of 2005.

He also spent 12 years in the Navel Reserves before being honorably discharged in 1964.

On February 14, 1960 he was married to Patricia Eberhart in Gresham, Ore. She predeceased him on January 25, 1998. Together with Pat he acquired the Kayser Family Farm in the Molalla area, and they spent considerable time and energy operating it. The farm remains in the family today.

He was able to travel to many places in the world and especially enjoyed time spent cruising in the San Juan Islands, and the East Coast of British Columbia. He enjoyed spending time in the Palm Springs/Palm Desert area, and the Oregon Coast.

Mr. Kayser is survived by his daughter, Suzann Kayser; son, Douglas Kayser (Chareen); his grandson, Colt; and special friend, Carole Lintner.

Donations, in lieu of flowers, can be sent to Leukemia And Lymphoma Society, Union Gospel and Molalla River Watch.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Arrowhead Golf Course in Molalla on January 11, 2025 at 3 p.m.
