Michael “Mike” Steven Jeli Date of birth - September 18, 1953 Date of death - April 26, 2026 Michael “Mike” Jeli 72, of Yoder, Oregon, passed away in his home on April 26, 2026, of natural causes. He was born on September 18, 1953, in Silverton, Oregon, to Joseph and Vera Jeli. Mike was married to the love of his life, Dianne (Emmert) Jeli. They shared 48 years of marriage, residing most of those years in the Yoder area. A lifelong farmer, Mike began working on the family farm as a young boy and spent the majority of his career in the egg industry. He managed the majority of Willamette Egg Farms’ chicken operations for egg production until his retirement in 2016. In 1973, he was one of the founding members of the Monitor Fire substation in Yoder, where he served as a volunteer firefighter and first responder, resigning in 1993. After that, he continued his dedication to the fire department as a board member until his retirement from the board in 2021. Mike found great joy in farming filberts, hunting, fishing, going to estate sales, and spending time with his family - especially his grandchildren. He is survived by his He is preceded in death by his brother Dennis Jeli, his father, Joseph Jeli, his father and mother-in-law, Carl and Irene Emmert, and brother-in-law, Marvin Mast. Celebration of life for Mike will be on Wednesday, May 6th at 11am at Foothills Community Church in Molalla, OR. A family Graveside service to follow at 3pm.
