James L. Holmes, age 67, of Molalla died on November 28, 2010.

He was born November 9, 1943 in Salem, Ore. to Dale and Lucy Holmes. He married his wife, Lynda, on November 27, 1964.

He is survived by his wife, Lynda Holmes; daughters, Shannon Volland and Dana Butcher; son, Michael Holmes; grandsons, Jacob and Justin Butcher and Austin Holmes; and his brother, Dick Holmes.

A service will be held on Friday, Dec. 3 at 1 p.m. at Adams Cemetery. Molalla Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements.
