Marquitta Belle (Rice) Foglesong

October 31, 1925 - December 17, 2016

Marquitta Foglesong passed away following a brief illness, in Mt. Angel, Ore., on Dec. 17, 2016. She was 91.

She was born to Orrin and Maude (Smith) Rice, in Alpena, Mich., on Oct. 31, 1925.

Marquitta was a graduate of Molalla High School. She was a secretary for the Eugene, Ore. school district for 20 years. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, crafts, and volunteering. She was a member of Marquam United Methodist Church, a life member of VFW Aux #3973, and Eastern Star, Molalla.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Otis Bland Foglesong and her parents.

Survivors include her sons, George (Dianne), and Otis Loyd (Pam); brother, Robert Rice of Mulino, Ore.; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; and numerous neices and nephews.

A private service was held.
