Delores Nicholson Cooper died December 27, 2024 in Taylorsville, Utah. She was born July 20, 1934, in Silverton, Oregon, to Edgar and Lela Nicholson. Delores attended Scotts Mills Grade School and graduated from Molalla High School in 1952.

She married Tom Cooper from Canby, Oregon. She worked as a secretary in Salem and Portland, Oregon, and Kodiak, Alaska. She moved to Salt Lake City, Utah, in 1972, and taught preschool for over 20 years. Delores was a devoted Mother, Grandmother, Sister and children’s advocate.

She is survived by daughter Christi (Lynn) Cheney; grandchildren Jeremy (Andrea), Daniel, Amanda, Joshua Cheney; five great grandchildren and three greatgreat grandchildren; sisters Janice Wareham (Tom) of Springfield, Eileen Holmes (Dick) of Mulino and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services January 3, 2025, Taylorsville, Utah; burial at Maplewood, Scotts Mills, Oregon.
