Donald A. Burghardt, 25, Molalla, died Monday in a Portland hospital after an extended illness.

He was born in Oregon City and lived in Molalla most of his life. Burghardt graduated from Molalla High School in 1960 and attended Portland State for one year. He attended Portland Electronics School in Portland for three years and served his apprenticeship at Jan Electric Co. in Molalla.

Surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Burghardt, and two brothers, Gary and Dale, all at home; a sister, Carol Page, Liberal, and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. L. L. Burghardt, Molalla, and Mrs. Anna Pederson, Portland.

Services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. in Everhart & Kent Funeral Home, Molalla. Interment will be in Ziol Cemetery at Canby. Friends may make contributions to the kidney foundation in care of the funeral home.
