Guillermo "Bill" Chavez Amaya March 1, 1949 - December 3, 2016 Daughter Billyjean sent this: We said "We'll see you later." to Guillermo (Bill) Chavez Amaya born 3/1/1949, in the early morning of 12/3/16 at the age of 67. Born in Delano Ca, to Elvira and Macario Amaya, Guillermo graduated Molalla Union High School in 1967 and was drafted in the Vietnam War 2/5/1969, honorably discharged 2/4/1971. After his military service, Guillermo became well versed in many fields including lumber industry, automotive repair, hop-farming, engineering, and construction. Guillermo was one of fifteen siblings, filled his life with family and friends, and focused on his seven children and eleven grandchildren. Guillermo, known as Bill by family and friends, devoted his time to his six children and eleven grandchildren. Guillermo became an active member of his community, especially with retirement facilities and contributing to the elderly. Guillermo is survived by his brothers, sister, children, grandchildren and the many lives he touched in his community. |
