Joyce Ann Kuschnick Alexander

Joyce Ann Kuschnick Alexander passed away Jan. 8, 2016. She was 74.

She was born March 17, 1941 in Willamina, Ore. to Ben and Viola Kuschnick. Joyce graduated from Molalla High School in 1959. She married Bill Alexander in 1960. They had two children, Stuart of Lincoln City, Ore., and Kelly Dixon of Vancouver, Wash. Kelly and her husband, Rob, are the parents of Joyce's only grandchild, Shane, also of Vancouver.

She was best known for her lovely flower gardens. She loved working in them. She also enjoyed working in her vegetable gardens.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and her sister, Vicki Schwabauer.

She is survived by her son, Stuart; daughter Kelly(Rob) Dixon; grandson, Shane; sister Deanna Clevenger of St. Louis, Mo.; nieces DeLee Buchanan of Hawthorne, Fla., and Heaven Gocobochi of Lincoln City; and her companion, Ben Blair of Lincoln City.
