MHS Alumni Senior Pictures
The Alumni Association has been working to permanently preserve and restore all the Senor Photographs that for many years hung in the high school on Molalla Ave. The ceilings were high, and everyone could glance up an see images of those who had graduated from the school over the years. The earthquake that destroyed the building put those pictures in peril. They were rescued by a group who came, removed and protected them. Although we would have liked to see them hanging in the new building, it wasn’t practical. It was determined that the best thing to do was to remove them from the frames and begin a process of scanning and making them available for alumni to see. It was a huge task, but the workers were assisted by a high quality scanner donated by Sheryl Erickson '63. We now have all classes from 1921-1992. You can see these photos here:
