HIGH SCHOOL ALUMNI ASSOCIATION

ARTICLE
I The "Molalla High School Alumni Association"
is an independent, non-profit, tax-exempt organization. Our
motto is: "Keeping the Connection" ARTICLE
II To enhance higher educational opportunities for
Molalla High School graduates, through promotion and management of money
awarded, as scholarships, by the organization. To develop fellowship among former students of
Molalla High School and promote camaraderie and a lasting connection between
fellow alumni.. Oversee and direct the planning of the annual alumni dinner(s). ARTICLE
III The membership is open to any person who attended
Molalla High School who is interested in, and approves of, the purpose of our
organization. The Alumni Association consists of two groups;
earliest alumni, through 50 years (Senior Alumni) and current alumni through
the last graduating class (Young Old-Timers). ARTICLE
IV President,
Secretary-Treasurer and Recorder SECTION I - DETERMINATION The officers shall be elected from the committee
membership. SECTION II - TERMS OF OFFICE The president shall be elected annually. The
secretary-treasurer and recorder shall serve 2 year terms and elected in
alternate years. SECTION III - ORGANIZATIONAL COMMITTEE The committee shall consist of eleven (11) members.
Any alumnus may volunteer to serve as a member of the organizational committee. ARTICLE
IV The organizational committee shall keep complete and
correct financial records and reports including, minutes of proceedings of its
meetings. Financial records and reports may be inspected by any member. ARTICLE V These bylaws may be altered, amended or
repealed and new bylaws may be adopted by a majority of the organizational
committee members present. ARTICLE
VI In the event that the Molalla High School Alumni
Association is dissolved as an organization, the following contingencies shall
be enacted: Assets of the association shall be directed to the
current Molalla High School scholarship committee for disbursement or
investment. The bulk mail permit will be void and
non‑transferable. Class lists shall be maintained by the individual 'class contact' person(s). |
