Charles Berkley Webster Sr.

July 14, 1946 - May 28, 2014

Dad,
We love you. More and more all the time. So many reasons why..
You had a personality, demeanor and overall kindness that caused people to want to be around you.

  • You were strong.
  • You have been our rock in times of need.
  • You were wise, too smart for your own good sometimes.
  • You have been a voice of reason and instruction to so many.
  • You were generous, always giving of time and resources. So generous to family and friends.
You were always encouraging, always positive.
  • You ALWAYS made people laugh, and that smile,.. No one that knew you will EVER forget your smile. You were passionate, dedicated to what you believe in.
  • You have always been a very hard worker. A provider by nature.
  • You were diligent, a perfectionist, usually unable to sleep at night if you left something undone.
  • You had an overwhelming love and appreciation for your family. No one could ever doubt your love for your children, grandchildren, and friends. We are so glad you are our dad and we were able to live life with you. We were able to see you become the man that is so dear to all of us. You sacrificed so much for us. You selflessly left job and security to move back and be closer to your family. A lot of little Webster's started populating this area so family brought you back to us locally. That was in January 2006. Our last 8 years have been something we will all cherish forever.
  • In that time,
  • You helped start a family business, twice.
  • You went on vacations to Las Vegas and Puerto Rico, prior to that never being on a plane or on a vacation for that matter.
  • You went to your first NFL football game… Oh and that look on your face when you saw all those steps to get to our seats.
  • You walked your daughter Cherie down the isle as she got married, and you added Jason as a son.
  • You added a daughter, Patty, to the family when you were there for your son, Charles' wedding.
  • You were here for 3 more grandchildren to be born, Charlie, Casey and Christa, bringing the total to 11 to help carry on your legacy.
  • Not to mention hundreds of other golden moments with family and friends including BBQs, football games, basketball games, cheerleading, tae kwon do, an on and on and on …
Oh and don't forget about all the time you spent worrying about all the above mentioned kids and grand kids. That was a 24/7 job for you and there wasn't a day that went by that you weren't thinking about us and a way you could be helpful or support us in some way.
You left a lasting, positive memory to so many. You left a incredible impression on us.

I will be a better man, a better father, and a better friend because of you.
You are my hero here on earth.
I am truly thankful that you are my dad.
